Percy just found a website I know that Poppy is going to love. It's more tacky christian things to buy!. Having said that, not everything is tack there, this guitar for instance.

Going to Poppy's parents tomorrow to celebrate her Dad's birthday. Long drive and all that, esp as Poppy will probably be asleep having been on call tonight. We're going for a picnic which'll be cool, esp if the weather stays like it has done today and yesterday...

Been reading Ian Irvine's View from the mirror quartet. Very good, espescially as theres a real lack of good vs evil, it's very difficult to see exactly where the story is going to go (apart form the fact that the two protagonisists are probabaly gonna end up riding off into the sunset together of course). You kind of get caught up in the characters, and pity/love/dislike each character in equal measures at different times... very cleverly written.
