well I've got tickets for The Moldy Peaches at the Barfly next month, and Poppy looks like she might hae a hard tyime swapping out of her on call so that she cansee them :(. I just checked their other tour dates and alas they are not going anywhere else much near Cardiff...

Old flatmate Alan has donated me his second computer as he's mmoving away and needed to get rid of it. This is good for 2 reasons. It has a faster processor and better video card, and my old mobo died a death the other day.
Bought some new RAM for it at the weekend and whacked our old hard drive into the new(er) PC, and the only problems are getting USB to work nicely, but I'm working on that. Next up is this combo CD-RW DVD drive which is going for a very decent £80 at one othe big PC superstores.
Then it'll be a new case and mobo and processor. It's all coming together slowly. Then a better graphcs card and buigger, better monitor... and then...

Back once again with the renegade master dip var dibbit to the ill behaviour!. Yeah well, you fill in the right words then. The point is, it's time to get posting on the bllog a bit more regularly. After a prolonged absence for a mulititude of reasons, there's gotta be lots to say.
First up we have two cats now. 41 never turned up but a lady from church is going to Cambodia to do missionary work for a while and left us her two cats. They're called Jemima and Golda, but we've nicknamed them Wonky and One-Eye. Jemima is blind in one eye you see, and Golda had some kinda RTA we think when she was younger and so her face is a bit lop-sided. They're very cute, lots of fun, not as noisy as 41, but not as heavy either. Photos soon.
