Hope you all had a good Christmas, not going to excuse my lack of updates as I don't think you need one when friends and family are around....
had a cool time with my family over Christmas and boxing day lunches, Dad's brussle sprouts were good enough for me to eat 2 rather than the requisite 2... My cousin Debbie has this theory that once you're married, you stop hating brussel sprouts... she could be right.
Went to seee FOTR before we came away for the break which did live up to my expectations thankfully, though it wasa tough decision when Poppy askked me whether I preferred that or Crouching tiger..... I' currently inclined to opt for the latter much t my surprise...
Boxing evening and the folliowing days with poppy's family were as chaotic as ever, adn we're off to the rest of my family tomorrow, via Beth and Rich's wedding... hope the weather stays nice
Top presents include a spangly waistcoat from my mum and dad, a set of 4 rings which Heather made for Poppy, and a big round egg like lamp thing from Robin. Oh and I bought 2 more Michael Moorcock books today which was cool.

heh blogger has a link to wincusto on it's front page. Looks like ev (pyra/blogger's main blokie I guess)n is thinking of a template swap site for blogger templates which is a great idea, but there is one problem of course.... bandwidth.... and copyright. OK, make that 2 problems. Maybe he should think about approaching some of the existing skin sites about including a section... doubt skinz or wincusto would do it, but DA might be open to it. They put in a blinking flash section after all.....

saw one of these in a shop in St Albans at the weekend. Looks quite cool as it has foot pedals too.... thought it would be a ood way to get that live drum feel without having to cart a huge set of real drums around. I can't play the drums though.... (I think it was about £200 btw)

Oh yeah, was talking about that link with Percy... at the weekend, cos we went ringing in St. Albans.
Despite not scoring a single quarter, a good time was had by all, mainly due to the vast quantities of beer drunk. There was an excellent tour round the Farmers Boy pub and brewery. Talk about a micro brewery, this one was like right in a tiny garage, the beer was brilliant...
Am thinking about making some kind of internet advent calender....
